The El Paso High Dual Language Magnet Program (DL) fosters second language acquisition by native English and native Spanish speakers at a high academic level. Students are not just learning a second language; they are learning in that second language.

The AP Capstone program cultivates curious, independent and collaborative scholars and prepares them to make logical, evidence-based decisions; skills that are increasingly valued by colleges. Students can congruently earn college credit from the University of Texas at Austin.
An AP Capstone Diploma is recognized by colleges and universities throughout the country. The AP Capstone program is offered exclusively at El Paso High School CURRICULUM Year 1: AP Seminar Year 2: AP Research 4 additional AP courses PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS Year 1: Passing score on AP Seminar exam Year 2: passing score on academic paper, presentation and oral defense AP Capstone Certificate earned upon completion of Year 1 and Year 2 AP Capstone Diploma earned upon completion of 4 additional AP Courses and passing scores on said courses |
