The El Paso High Dual Language Magnet Program (DL) fosters second language acquisition by native English and native Spanish speakers at a high academic level. Students are not just learning a second language; they are learning in that second language.
Math and Science classes taught 50% in English and 50% in Spanish
Advanced Spanish elective classes offered exclusively at EPHS
Earn qualified hours in medical interpretation
Complete 12 or more DL courses
Earn 4-7 Foreign Language credits
Yearly course load to include Pre-AP, AP, or Dual Credit courses

The STEM Academy can be can be combined with any other EPHS magnet program
The AP Capstone program cultivates curious, independent and collaborative scholars and prepares them to make logical, evidence-based decisions; skills that are increasingly valued by colleges. Students can congruently earn college credit from the University of Texas at Austin.
An AP Capstone Diploma is recognized by colleges and universities throughout the country.

Year 1: AP Seminar
Year 2: AP Research
4 additional AP courses
Year 1: Passing score on AP Seminar exam
Year 2: passing score on academic paper, presentation and oral defense
AP Capstone Certificate earned upon completion of Year 1 and Year 2
AP Capstone Diploma earned upon completion of 4 additional AP Courses and passing scores on said courses
